To all those on my flist,

If you've commented here at my LJ or replied to some of my comments, and are wondering why I haven't replied yet – there's a good reason why I've been slacking with comments and other things. (Except updating fanfics *shakes head at herself*)

The reason is this: midterm exams are three days away for me (they got postponed because of all our cancellations, thank god), and until they're over, I'm not either a) allowed on the computer or 2) supposed to do anything else besides study.

Sucks, but that's what I've gotta live with. So for four days, you'll see me being less active online – you probably won't see any trace of me, for that matter. This is temporary, I promise – just until my exams officially end on Wednesday. And besides, if I pass the exams, that means I can go visit you, ohappyfair! :D

I'm really sorry about this – but I hope you'll still consider me as a somewhat friend :S :) I'm sorry, decemberzmind, for not updating and commenting! Forgive me . . ?

So for now . . sayonara.

We got cancelled once again. *shakes head* I wonder if our midterm exams will have to be postponed now – along with the oral presentations.

I mean, we have two days of presenting, and one left for make-up, in case anyone else has to present.

Then there's the exams – we have three days to review in class for them, and in U.S. History we won't be having any time to review – because we'll be doing a project! *sighs* Or maybe we won't do the project and review instead. Augh, guess I'll find out on Monday . .

We sure are using our 5 days up fast *laughs* But there's a good reason for it . . just hope we don't use up the remaining 2 days next week, or sooner.

What is the weather forecast for next week, anyway? *checks*

Oh. Rain, wind, snow showers and partly cloudy days. Not bad.

While I couldn't post the graphics up yesterday – today I can, so here they are.

Most of them deal with Japanese anime (Fruits Basket mainly), so my flist won't really get any use out of them :P And there's only 1 HP icon. Sad.

Got cancelled again today. Am kinda happy, but I'm also sick of this. All of it.

Honestly, why a Level 3 winter storm now, of all times?

Not only are we "iced in" (so to speak) – only emergency and medical people are allowed on the roads, and if "ordinary" people are out on the road, they'll be arrested – but I'm being driven slowly out of my mind with impatience and boredom.

Never thought I'd say this .. but I want to go back to school. Now. I've an oral presentation tomorrow, which I'm not even prepared for – and school's a welcoming distraction right now. Excluding there being midterm exams next week.

Our city's a sight to see, though – ice has literally frozen our plants outside, and has also caused trees to break and fall on the roads. It's amazing and terrifying at the same time.

We don't have any big trees nearby us, but on some of the busy main streets there's some, and those broke off and fell on the road, which caused delays.

. . Maybe it's good that there wasn't any school today either. But augh, it's so frustrating waiting for the ice to melt and for the electricity to be fixed and the trees that fall on the road to be moved – the joys of a Level 3 winter storm.

So there's my complaining done for the day.

Wonder if there's not going to be any school tomorrow either – they haven't announced tomorrow's cancellations and delays yet. This evening, probably, they'll announce it.

Oh, for the gifted public speakers out there – is there any advice you can give to a horrible public speaker (a.k.a. me) who's doing a presentation on computer viruses?

. . Which reminds me, the presentation's not even ready . . my partner and I haven't fulfilled all the requirements our teacher wants.

And we're presenting tomorrow – if there is school tomorrow. How and where are we going to finish adding the animation and so forth for the slideshow we're doing? *sigh* (By the way . . our "presentation" is a slideshow on PowerPoint. Yay.)

Off to ready my notecards then (hey, gotta be prepared no matter what! Hope Was Here must be rubbing off on me..). How exciting.

Welp, school was cancelled today. Gotta love freezing rain and snow, honestly . . This is the first time we've got cancelled this year..ain't that something.

I got your letter yesterday, Romy. You can imagine how happy/shocked I was - your card is so nice! And your handwriting is pretty.. And no, in case you're wondering, I'm not scared now ;)

I feel so bad for the ittle bitty envelope and card I sent you -.- Mine's not even half as lovely, compared to yours. I'm sorry! :(

Although did notice one thing - the bus's license plate reads "Dic-24-03" - am not kidding!

Hey, if you're an Icon maker I can guarantee that your icons are being stolen from these Xangas. Tons of them are being hotlinked from photobucket accounts. There isn't much that can be done for the ones that aren't, but I think you should check them out. Also PLEASE POST THIS IN YOUR LJ.
